After three intense days spent attending the conferences of the Handango Partner Summit 2005, here's the really fun part of the adventure in Miami. No more business, just fun. The weather got better just when we needed it, what a luck! :)
And to think about the fact that Hurricane Dennis hit hard even Miami just as I was writing this report...
Many people liked this pic. We spent the whole night on the plane to London, but we slept only for a few hours. I also remember there was a lot of turbolence.
The flight from London to Milan instead passed with us sleeping for most of it.
This closes the photoreport of a trip which went well over my personal expectations in many areas. I did knew it would have been an important occasion but I was too excited to make up my mind and elaborate at least a glimpse of what to expect in general.
As a lesson learned I must say we got by well enough with our spoken English and the series of conversation lessons I took before leaving for Miami made me more confident with the language, although the room for improvement is pretty vast. ;)
Another important element was the actual use of my PDA, a Fujitsu Siemens Loox 720. I used it to take notes, browse the web using the Wi-Fi access of the Sheraton, but in particular I used Skype to call friends and parents in Italy with very good results. Ok, sometimes the connection was jerky and I had to recall the same number more than one time, but you can't beat the price, really!
Hope you enjoyed the report!
