Davide Orlando (albegor)  > OnTheGo! > Handango Partner Summit 2005 in Miami - The Business Part (Eng)
The report of the exciting trip to Miami to attend the Handango Partner Summit 2005, the annual invitation-only meeting organized by Handango to get a glimpse into the incoming future of the mobile market, to confront face to face with developers and sponsors' staff from all over the world and most of all have fun together, because that's the great value added of these occasions, a unique chance to really mix business and pleasure in the best way possible.
I divided the whole report in two parts, this is the business part. ;)

Davide Orlando (albegor) > Early in the morning at the Malpensa Airport near Milan, while waiting to get onboard the flight to London I took this curious pic of a big Jumbo of Thai Airways followed by a small DC-9 of our flagship airline company, Alitalia.
Davide Orlando (albegor) > Me and Christian near the big windows of the Terminal 1. My friend Christian followed me in this trip across the ocean and proved to be the best company I could ever wish for, especially from a human and social point of view, since his interest in mobile devices wasn't as deep as mine. I think he learned a lot even in this area though. ;)
Davide Orlando (albegor) > A wonderful pic of our British Airways' Airbus A319 flying over the Alps.
Davide Orlando (albegor) > Over Britain just across the Channel, called La Manica in Italian. When I showed this pic to a friend of mine he couldn't help but mention that all over these skies they fought such fierce battles during WWII, since both of us are aviation enthusiasts and we shared many books about the WWII figher pilots. :)
Davide Orlando (albegor) > Above London, getting ready to land at the Heathrow Airport. You can clearly see the Millennium Dome, but it's so sad to know the City has been shaked by that terrible terrorist attack just the other day... :(
Davide Orlando (albegor) > We got onboard the big boy of Virgin Atlantic, a Boeing 747-400, named Ruby Tuesday. We seated just above the left wing and I managed to take this pic on the ground and surprised myself for the next one while inflight...
Davide Orlando (albegor) > Just look at how much the wing did bend during the flight... I didn't know it could be so flexible!
It was my first time on such a big plane after all. :D
Davide Orlando (albegor) > And it actually was my first time in the US. Florida... here we come!
Davide Orlando (albegor) > The Sheraton Bal Harbour Beach Resort. When we landed we immediately started suffering for the incredibly high humidity level. The air was so heavy, but fortunately the air conditioning was everywhere, especially in such a luxurious four stars resort. :)
