Davide Orlando (albegor) > I decided to land ( actually you would use this term after getting up just after 3 hours of sleep and a long travel by train, especially if you're not used to it! ) in Cannes-La Bocca and not in the town center to be able to take a long and refreshing walk along the seaside of Cannes.
I really needed that since after the long train trip I was a bit tired.

From these pics from La Bocca now you know why they call it Côte d'Azur.

Davide Orlando (albegor) > After a quick look around I stopped at the i-mate booth and had a good look at their devices, the JAM in particular which attracts me a lot for its compact size and clean look. I talked a bit with one of their representatives and once he learned I was a developer from Italy he asked me if I knew Mr. Giorgio Sifani, a Microsoft MVP for mobile devices. Sure I did, although his surname is a bit different in Italian. ;)
I recalled Giorgio is now working for i-mate, but I didn't know he was there.
They asked me if I would have preferred to meet him at their booth or on their yacht...
I thought they were joking about the yacht since the atmosphere was not so serious after I asked if I could take away the JAM just as I did with one of the Skype free credit bonus cards they were distributing.
When Giorgio came, however, he told me that there was a 30m yacht i-mate for the meetings... doh! Shocked
I had a pleasant talk with him, then I got back to my 3GSM visit.
Next time on the yacht, ok? ;)
